Owen and Ben love their Papa and Papa loves them

This is Owen on the last Sunday we were together in 2012 before they left for Japan forever. Owen had just lost his first tooth and he was so happy. He and his brother loved to be with Papa and loved that I took them to the park that day and later to the mall for lunch.

And here is Ben on the exact same day in 2012. He looks very happy to be with Papa at the park, being his goofy self as usual. It seems pretty clear to me that both Owen and Ben love their papa and loved being with papa.

Happy New Year

Hi Owen and Ben. Your dad here. Hope you are well. Well, it's finally really winter here in California. It has been raining a lot the last several weeks and snowing a lot in the higher mountains. Over the New Years weekend we went up to the mountains for some sightseeing. The mountains looked very beautiful with all the snow. Did you get any snow in Osaka?
