Visiting Nature

Hi Owen and Ben.  Your dad here.  Sorry I have not posted in a month. I am good here, finally settled into my new apartment. Last week I went up to the mountains in California called the Sierra Nevada mountains.  I love the mountains and nature and I hope you do too.  I would love to hear about any trips that you take to the mountains or other natural areas in Japan.  Below is a photo I took of a spectacular lake called Mono Lake.  Those strange looking formations are called Tufa.  They used to be under the water and they form from springs under the water that cause the minerals to build up over time into these amazing formations.  I hope you can see them someday if you ever visit America.  Send me a message here or on Facebook if you can.  Love Dad.
